Sounds like something is rubbing but I can't tell, hopefully someone has had this issue before, it's louder under truck then being under hood.

Remove belt and see if anything changes, use a dowel rod or long screw driver to place against suspect parts , as in pulleys , idlers , alternator.

Check heat shields on exhaust manifolds .

Will check all of that once I get home, also do you know why my oil pan would still be leaking? I replaced the oil pan gasket and the oil pan, still has a leak in front of oil pan, and it's not a small leak either...... harmonic balancer going to the crank looks dry so I can only assume it's the oil pan still????

Seems like timing cover to oil pan is still leaking...... about ready to burn this truck to the ground
