Exhaust rattle...

Maybe the motor is twisting and when it comes down off torque, its tapping something? At one time, I remember guys having issues with something on the exhaust hitting somewhere but I know you dont have factory anymore. Maybe a clearance is too tight somewhere?

Im not running any resonators and I have headers, no cats w/ 1 22" Magnaflow. Its pretty loud an dI dont have that issue.

Is it a rattle noise coming from the exhaust? Like the exhaust sounds like a dirt bike kind of? Or are you talking about something in the system is rattling around?

Since my true dual setup I get a nasty high pitched rattle around 3-3.5k when getting out of a WOT punch.

I am leaning to it being the resonators causing it because it only does it sometimes and doesn't sound like its just the tone.

Anyone else notice a similar issue?

Hey Jay good to see you on this forum. I have an exhaust rattle too but only when it's cold. Once it warms up it goes away; I deleted my resonators and muffler also.

lay underneath, have someone slam the gas and see if your muffler is doing it, you shoudl be able to rack around 3500-4k RPM if you get nothing then start looking for loose parts :/

Honestly can't pinpoint but since it's so foreign from the normal tone and doesn't always do it, I assumeit something somewhere loose.

May just be the harmonics is hitting just right to make it have the raspy rattly noise from hell. I can't stand it!

No its deep and bolt when accelerating it's on on decel. And only around 3-3.5k

Ahh gotcha, hope you can figure it out, I imagine it's annoying lol

My exhaust note changes in the same rpm range but it's not a rattle just alot of rasp. Only does it in that certain rpm range.. kinda reminds me of a of a catless x pipe car
