Have a quick question. I am looking to upgrade my radio to something with nav. I have factory bluetooth with the microphone built into the rearview mirror. If I upgrade my radio will I be able to use the factory microphone or will I have to install the supplied microphone? Thanks guys

When you look up the functions of the maestro does it say it will do that? Im not trying to be a smart ass I just don't really know the answer to your question.

Have an audio shop near you? See if they have installed one of these and if they have they should be able to give you a good idea if it will work or not.

just called them. Currently no support for our trucks. they will have a release this spring. They recommended alipine or kenwood. He said that with the car play update from pioneer they didn't include the update for the maestro. It will retain the factory Bluetooth microphone. Also they recommended going with a kenwood 691 series or higher or an alpine 957 or higher. those will be compatible with the future release

They support pioneer also but they said pioneer messed up and never included the maestro support in the updates

Ah ok that makes sense now. Can't ever say i've be disappointed by Alpines but kenwoods have been prett lack luster and cheap feeling for me in the past.

I hear ya. He explained that the Kenwood play better with the smart phones than alpine. I'm Polly gonna go with the Kenwood because I cam use it for waze and it has a volume knob not buttons
