If you want aftermarket go to Crutchfield.com for options. Others also like certain Chinese aftermarket Android Headunits and are very satisfied...like this :

And still others (myself included) opt for the factory 8.4 radios as detailed in this thread...

I just wasn’t sure what other units would interchange without a lot of extra parts. I don’t have steering wheel controls but do have backup camera in mirror. Thanks

If you view the Crutchfield website:
They list the after market radios that will work, along with any add ons that you might need & installation instructions.

I would almost bet that your current camera is in the tailgate handle.
Your Display is in the interior mirror.

I believe that you either have the RA 3 or RA 5 radio
If you do not have a Touch Screen
It may be this radio, that you have






Any stock radio with Navigation would need
not only a different larger radio, but the Radio Bezel needs to be replaced also

I installed the awesafe from Amazon and everything went well except getting backup camera image from the mirror to the screen. I get the guidelines but no actual picture. Also is there a list of settings that shows what each setting means or does?

I upgraded my basic radio to the 8.4, needed the radio, a new bezel (got mine with volume control at Infotainment, the wiring harness (from M²Mods) and the steering wheel controls (from Benny at All Mopar Parts in vendor section. Use a 2019 or higher 8.4 from a 4th Gen (classic) if you go factory route. The 2018s had a problem with delamination although any 2018 units now have probably been fixed by now or do t have the problem. Using 2018 and a over UAS gets you Android Auto and Car Play to allow you to do things like use your phone maps instead of the out of date software in the unit's with maps (known as UAQ). Also, you would need to add an antenna for the built in GPS.
