Factory 4 flat connector. No right signal.

I hooked up my trailer to find no right turn signal. I assumed it was the trailer wiring so checked resistance throughout to find all was good. Put the meter on the 4 flat connector and had alternating current on left signal but absolutely nothing on the right. Has anyone had these connectors go bad? All seems in good condition

Why would that be? I can check it in the morning. I remember it working in the past.

Check for power in the 7 pin jack(the 4 and 7 pin jacks are feed from the same wiring. Also there are fuses for the trailer lighting/brake under the hood.

I had similar issues until I turned it on

The Tow/Haul does not have to be on for the trailer lights or even the brake controller to work. If that is the case, there is a problem with your truck.

Fuse # F81

Mine were some kind of M case fuse. Hard to find. Had to order it online.

I'll check the fuse shortly. I would have thought it would 1 fuse for all trailer connectors. So that's not the case?

Every trailer lighting problem I've ever had was ground related. Good luck in your search for a solution.
