I have been searching for how to factory reset a uconnect 8.4 19.42 OS for most of the day, over 10 hours, and didn't find this information on this site or on many others that deal specifically with RAMs. It's when I did a general search I found it from this site;

Here is what it says if you just want the nit and gritty:
Master Reset for Dodge Charger/Challenger ONLY (RAM as well in my experience)
BEFORE ATTEMPTING A MASTER RESET PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU'VE HAD THE UNIT INSTALLED IN YOUR VEHICLE FOR AT LEAST 48-72 HOURS. MOST ISSUES WILL BE FIXED IN TIME AS YOUR VEHICLE IS ADJUSTING TO THE NEW SYSTEM.
A master reset only works for Chargers and Challengers with a UAQ or a UAS.
If you are experiencing issues with your UAQ or UAS system please attempt a master reset.
Master Reset
1. Power on the radio.
2. Click on the Phone icon.
3. Hold the top right corner of the screen for about 13 seconds *It may take longer.
4. The radio will shut off and restart.
5. Master reset is complete.

This is my first post on this site. I have been getting great information from you all for over a year and a half now. I got the alpha obd program because of KustomBlackGunz on youtube and what I found here. I have changed my cluster, radio (from RA2 to RA4 w/nav & carplay) and, AUX control panel from all the great information I've found. Today however I was having major issues with my radio and didn't want to wait for the "system to reconfigure" and wait another day or two, so when I found this solution, which helped me, I thought I would post it here and hopefully help someone else.
It is my hope that I can contribute and be apart of this community.
