Ive had a come and go problem since i got my truck a few years ago and this time it wanted to show up but it never wanted to go away. Any ways, this happens. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1449710524.512907.jpg
Never mind my radio, but underneath it are the dials for the heat/ac and all that fun stuff. As you can see, some of it is lit and the rest is faded out to the point of having no light at all. Actually, just about all of it is out. Anyone know how to fix this?

I can't remember if the 04s are replaceable bulbs or LEDs soldered onto the board. I think yours are bulbs that can be replaced. There was a thread on here with the bulb type needed but I can't remember where to find it.

Same thing has happened to my '07 Commander. icon9.gif

And some slow day next spring, when I'm happy to get out in the sun after a winter of heavy snow, I'm gonna replace all the dash bulbs in my Ramcharger, with LED's!!! :naughty:

Do you mean B8.5d? because it then comes up as B8. Any idea how many it takes?

Sorry yea meant B8.5d, but I might be wrong now lol. Trying do research because some had luck with that and others had luck with the Neo5. You should have 3 behind the hav controls.

From what I see online it's a mix review on it. I see the 3rd gen 06-08 rams with people having no problem with the B8.5d in dash and hvac, but then see some of the 02-05 with no problem and some saying they had to go to the NEO5 bulbs. SO you have a 50/50 chance. When looking at the bulbs (pics online) it looks to me that the NEO5 would fit better.
