Falken Tires

Anyone ever run these tires they look good and are priced right.

One of my buddies just put those on his truck. I think they look good, but I like mine better, a bit more aggressive.

I personally have never heard any negatives about the falken tires. Good find on the price Recontango.

I have the rocky mountains which is the same tire just discount tires version in a 285/70/r17 for about 5 months now through Chicagos snow, now the rain and have had zero problems. The pictures don't do the tire justice they do look allot more aggressive in person but I personally would of liked a little more aggressive look. The ride is great it is a quit tire on the high way. My buddy liked them allot so he bought a set for his jeep and he goes mudding in it and loves them. Like I said I would of liked a little more aggressive look but I am over all happy and glad I bought them.

I have them. Theyre a nice A/T tire I suppose and I think they look good. Agressive look, but not so much as the real off road tires. No road humming like the super aggressive offroad tires too. If you decide to get them, I know pepboys has a buy 3 get 1 free after rebate. Mine ended up being like around 800 I believe. Plus I got the warranty on them, which came in handy because one got a small notch in the sidewall, I got a new one for less than 20 bucks. If you cant find a better deal, check out Pepboys. I also recently saw they have an additional $50 rebate, which may apply to the Falken's. Not a fan of their service at all, but they can do a decent deal on tires.

I think you will like them probably won't wear very well 40 - 45k my guess max. They make good looking tires just not a long wear brand.

to add to my comments pepboys does have buy 3 get one free but discount tire beat them and bought my stock tires that were beat up. I priced checked all around and discount beat them all just an fyi.

Thanks. If I get 30,000 miles out of a tire I'm happy. I drive a lot of gravel at high speeds.

That tire does yes but tire warranty does mean you will get that it means if it you don't get that they will prorate based on the tread depth and then basically try and suck you into buying another set with prorated off. If you like the tire that is okay but if you hated the tire warranty means nothing.

I would say so gravel will eat any tire pretty fast. Where I live the tire guys say you will be lucky to get 2/3 of the miles the warranty is just because you are really pushing it to use a tire to the wear bars on ice and snow. I buy LT tires a lot and they have no warranty most of the time gotta love that.
