The fan wouldn't work so I bought a main fuse, didn't fix it, bought new fan, now it runs and won't ever shut off, so replaced the temperature sensor on the thermostat housing, and the high and low relays. This is the fan under the shroud in front of the belt driven fan. Any ideas?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, It will stay on even when the truck is off, I pull the fuse to turn it off.

Stop firing the parts cannon and spend some time analyzing the fault.

Start with downloading the service manual from the link below.

Search the pdf on a PC using 'control F' to word search - AC condenser fan schematic.

This fan will stay on permanently with the HVAC set to Max AC or when the recirculate option is selected with the AC setpoint significantly below the current cab temperature.

I will have a look tomorrow morning, I may have the drawings on my PC.

Using the stupid phone ATM.

then your pulling the wrong fuse or someone re wired it when the tipm failed Or your tipm failed and is shorting out.
I pull the main power fuse for the fan, no rewiring has been done-it is all stock, the TIPM might be it because last night I had all kinds of odd electrical issues that just went away after pulling the battery cable off for 10 mins and reconnecting it?

It will run until the battery drains down.

I believe that the BCM controls the E-fan activation.
A condition of a module, device, wiring, or connection is causing the BCM to activate the fan or the BCM could have a problem.

The prudent approach is to test and analyze to determine where the fault exists.
After you can prove where the fault is, that's the time to replace components.

No guessing is required.

I hope the manual I linked above is better than what I have on my PC.
I looked for far too long before giving up on finding a schematic for the condenser fan control.

I know that I've used them for another year of Ram truck.
I'll search my PC at the next opportunity. I know they're here somewhere.
