So from what I'm reading a tune won't get me there as stated earlier? What can I expect from a good tune?

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but that dyno chart is showing a 65HP increase, stock tune vs a hemifever tune.

Save yourself labor and money and spend 500 bucks on one of his programmers.


And keep in mind, that's a 65RWHP increase, which means the gains at the crank are even more.

yes his dyno does show 65hp over stock tune, but stock tune with almost all performance bolt ons is horrible. the only way to optimize all the bolt ons is a custom tune, so before he tuned he wasn't seeing much until the tune brought them all together, just a tune on a stock vehicle will not have those results.

I see your point, yes all the supporting mods probably helped, but I don't think it's as much as you think. Modern motors have all kinds of sensors that read fuel, air intake, etc and the computer adjusts accordingly to optimize the way the motor runs. It's not like they are carbureted.

Even if you deduct 15 horsepower (to account for the supporting mods) your still at 50. Less than 10 bucks per HP.
