Finally got the Eaton Truetrac installed.

After waiting a year for Eaton to finally make the Truetrac for the 2015 Dodge Rams, I finally one got it installed. I ordered it from Jegs in December and got it January 20th.
All I can say is WOW. No more one wheel spin in the rain. Even with my 3.21 gears it grips and pulls hard.
The Truetrac worked so nice Thursday when we had frozen rain on the streets going to work in the Dallas area.
I wanted to get 3.92 gears, but 4wheelparts would have to order it and I didn't want to wait another week or so. Maybe another time, I'll get the 3.92 gears. My truck does more city driving than highway.
Glad I got it done. Worth every penny.

Just remember if you get stuck, a lil e-brake may help out.

Remember to fill without limited slip friction-modifier additive. If you have any doubt about my statement, go to Eaton's website and read what they say about it.

Mobil Delvac 1 gear oil does not have it, and Red Line NS gear oil does not have it. Everybody else I know of adds it stock, including Amsoil. I had a big go-round with them about it. They didn't like being confronted with reality.

I had mine installed a few weeks ago. Nice improvement to handling. Well worth it. About to do 500mi fluid change. Per Eaton recommendation:

• A quality, petroleum-mineral based, GL5 rated 80w-90 gear oil should be used.
• Synthetic oils are not recommended for Truetrac applications. While some customers have found that synthetic oils works well in this application, Eaton has not confirmed under test conditions that all synthetic oils are compatible with Detroit Truetrac applications.
• Friction modifiers should not be used because they will decrease performance (reduce differential bias)

Yup. I followed all Eaton's guide lines on break-in and gear oil to use.

They now sell the TruTrac for the ZF axle in your truck, no axle shaft needed.

For your 2010, the original 9.25 Chrysler axle one fits:

It was the axle shaft from '02- '10 that was needed for the ZF axle to make this differential work.
