Hi all.
Just bought a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7. Got a good deal it seemed for the miles (154k) compared to everything else I was finding. Drove 4.5 hours each way to pick it up. Threw the CEL on the way home and now I'm dealing with a few needed repairs.
I've owned an F150 and an Avalanche in the past and never had engine trouble. So this will be a new adventure for me. Trying to decide if I should replace a VVT solenoid myself or trust a shop to do it, as a starting point.
Hopefully after needed repairs are done this truck will serve me well for years to come and I can happily post here about it moving forward!
