First post introduction

Hello all! Today I bought a used 2003 QC 1500 2WD with the 5.7 Hemi. The truck has 209,000 miles and seems to have been fairly well taken care of. I did notice a few issues that I'll need to remedy right off the bat:

idle surge (cold & NOT)
Pass front window won't roll up or down from driver or pass switch
Driver sun visor fell off frame (was being held on with black electrical tape)
rear brake rotors warped

If anyone cares to jump right in and make suggestions, that is great. If not, I'm not unfamiliar with the forum search feature.

I've seen where others have had issues with the passenger side switch not working the window. For some of them i think the problem was actually in the drivers side switch.

For the sun visor you mean the screws that hold it in are not there anymore? (stripped out maybe?)

For the rear brake rotors i would just buy new rotors and pads

Like Butch stated your switch would be the first place to look at. Also the rubber boots between the door and body have been known to have broken wires inside them.

X2 on new rotors as you can't un warp them.

Good chance the window motor is bad in your passenger door. I replaced a set in my 04, not difficult at all. Most likely that's what's wrong, but a good idea to troubleshoot first, as I had both go out on me.

The part of the visor that flips down is off. The mount with rod is still attached.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'll most likely just buy another visor. I'll leave the window issue to a friend of mine (25 year Chrysler Master Tech). I'll be spending the next few days cleaning the throttle body, changing the plugs, wires, and a fluids & filters.
