How did you make those, I want a set so bad

I painted the headlight housing and took apart the led pod to paint the reflector face black to make it stealth but not loose any light functionality.

Question!!

Painting the housings n such black.. Do you lose light output? I have quad headlights and wanna paint them or buy a dual headlight setup and paint em.

But will i lose HiD output?.

Only if you paint the reflector, just painting the bezel won't affect anything

Saweeeet!

Now do the quads or duals have better light output??

I have quads but thinking of buying a set of duals, painting black and getting the oracles for it! But keeping 8000K HID for bulb.

Can't say for sure which are better since I went from quads to '13 projectors

You know that anything over 4300K in temp color has less light output, right? You're trying to get as much as possible, and then handicapping whichever you choose with low output, purple light.

Been at it for a hour and haven't gotten the lens off yet. Baked and removed all the sealer I could, but still won't budge. Even tried a heat gun. any ideas?

It's a PITA; just keep baking and prying. Some are easier than others, mine took 2 separate nights.

Some great info here guys. Got all the info needed to do this except the paint y'all are using.

Bake at 250f for 15-20 minutes

Seal with Butyl

I'm really diggin the LED pod in there but already running them fogs and they do have some wait to them.
