Guys, coming from a Power-Stroke, I am new to Dodge and gas motor mods in general, so bear with me. I have a 2009 Hemi Ram and am terrified to swap exhaust due to threat of in-cab drone. I had a buddy that put aftermarket exhaust on a 6.2L Sierra and it gave me a headache to ride around with him. I am looking for an aggressive sound when "on it" but quiet in cab while cruising. Flo-Pro just released a direct fit muffler and am considering it with the addition of a Magnaflow y-pipe but wanted to see what everyone else is running with little to no in-can drone. Oh yeah, also on a tight budget!

Thanks in advance!

Don't even know if it's been released yet...

Saw a video posted on Youtube from Flo-Pro but can't seem to paste it using me phone. Says video was added today and it part #2511.

I'm running a 40series Flowmaster. You get a drone at mid/high rpm's for about 3 seconds after that nothing but a nice deep growl.

I want to see pics. The one in the vid doesn't look like it would fit. :D

My 18" Magnaflow has 0 drone. I've been very pleased with it in that regard.
That being said, it's TOO DAMNED QUIET!

old thread but.....

I am possibly looking at replacing my 18" boesch built kit (magnaflow muffler). The interior noise at 1500-1800 rpms (with MDS off) with a CC and 3.21 gears is starting to get to me. It seems like most of the time when I am accelerating or going up a hill the engine is at 1500 rpms. I usually have to downshift to a lower gear to up the rpms. Anything about 62-64 I have to run in 7th to avoid the 1500-1800 range. Below 1500 you can barely hear the exhaust and when you hit the gas it is good, but cruising [emoji107]. I know exhaust sound is always subjective but searching the Web today I ran upon Flo - pro and I have never heard of them.

The flo-pro 2511 looks comparable to a dod24 from mufflex.

Anyone run the Flo - pro?

Another vote for the 18" Magna. I installed it without jacking up my truck in about 1.5 hours and that was only because I lent out my socket set so I had to go buy one.
