Flowmaster question on '14 Hemi Blackout

Just bought a '14 Express Blackout and I want to put a Flowmaster 50 on it (have it on my 4.7 '02 & love it). I haven't taken delivery yet but I want to have the muffler ready to install when it comes in. So I have a few questions, the first is what size inlet/outlets is the exhaust pipe and the second is will changing the muffler throw any codes or issues. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Muffler swap only wont throw any code. Inlet size is 3" and outlet size is 2.5" dual. Hope this helps

Yeah that won't be an issue as far as throwing codes how long is the stock muffler if it's longer than the flowmaster you might need to add onto the 3" to make it fit

Thanks that's what I needed. 3 in 2.5 out. Flowmaster is shorter than stock so yes, a length of pipe will be needed.

Is the factory muffler only clamped in?

Yep just unbolt bad bolt the new one in

so you can literately just unbolt and bolt a new muffler in with no issue. in a few minutes.

Exactly i had mine welded so i dont need to worry about the clamps loosening up in the future.
