I'll preface this with "I can't find the synthetic oil thread". Serious. For some reason I can't find it even though I saved it. Did it change names? Or maybe Tapatalk just sucks...

100000 KMs coming up, so I am going to change oil in the diffs and transfer case. Rear diff was done about 40000kms ago, but I'm doing it again just because.

Front and rear diffs- 75-90 synthetic. My choices (where I am) are Penzoil Ultra synthetic, Valvoline, or the Mopar brand (4 hour drive to get it!). My only hesitation with the penzoil and valvoline is they specify on the data sheet that they contain a limited slip additive which is something I don't want. Is it an additive that is common and I just don't need ADDITIONAL additive? The Penzoil and Valvoline is sitting on the shelf at our local mom and pop parts store just a short jog away. Redline, Amsoil, etc that seems to be recommended all the time is not available here. Could buy online but the cost is ridiculous and not worth it.

Transfer case is a BW 44-46 I believe and calls for the BW 44-44 fluid. Is the mopar fluid the only option?

Maybe going to upgrade my diff covers to something with a drain plug too. Suggestions?

2015 2500.

The Valvoline would be a good choice. I am going to be using it for mine after my Gear change. Haven't heard anything bad about it.

Anymore I order all my fluids from Walmart. Free shipping and excellent pricing. I wouldn’t hesitate to use synthetic Supertech.
