Which is better, fluid Film or WoolWax? How hard is it to do yourself with the 6 can kit? None of the applicators are close to me, so I will have to do it my self.

Following to see what you hear.

I have used FF plenty of times so I’m familiar with it. It will wash off areas like wheel wells that get a lot of direct spray. I reapply every year or 2 depending on exposure. In the protected areas like frames and inside body panels it’s a once and done for me.

Insofar as application difficulty, nothing hard at all with the FF. I’ve never yet bothered with anything more than the aerosol cans, although gallons are cheaper. I have the flexible wand 3’ or so that fits the cans and sprays a 360 pattern. Just slide it into hidden spots or frames and hose er down while pulling out the wand.

I plan to try the WoolWax on a couple of vehicles later this spring, but not until I finish all the other maintenance and mods that have me under the vehicle. You’ll want to apply either one last, not first IMO. Unless you enjoy working on a bunch of slippery stuff.

I've used both and have a thread or two on it here. My brother bought the 5gal pail of woolwax and the premium spray gun. He lent it to me last year and I did my Ram with it. Woolwax smells really nice, like a hand lotion. Fluid film from the can (not aerosol) smells like a sheep farm. They both apply the same and are drip free. Woolwax is a tad bit thicker is all.

I bought a gallon can of FF online and the cheaper spray kit and did my other vehicles with it in the fall of 2019. I'd recommend either product

I've got an auto and truck repair place about 15 miles from me that's a Corrosion Free dealer. I didn't call them, but I've heard it's expensive, like $400-500 per application. To me, I have zero faith in anyone's application of any of these products, which is way I went the Fluid Film and Woolwax route. To me, it's more about the application and re-application than the product itself. I was super disappointed with the Krown job I paid for back in 2018.

If you buy your own FF, WW, Krown, etc.. etc. kit, you can shoot your vehicle a few times a year when you're feeling ambitious. You can take the amount of time you feel like. You don't even need to lift it, put a tarp under it, etc. Just wear some old clothes and take a shower afterwards.

I made my own grab-n-go kit with my fluid film. I keep the spray gun with a full container threaded on it sealed in a 5gal bucket. I'll grab the bucket when I'm doing a tire rotation or brakes and shoot what I may have missed through the wheel wells.
