Just use regular 75W-90 from Vatozone in your front diff.

That's interesting because when I look up 68049954AA it says that's for the 44-40Soooo, I went to the dealer to settle any part number confusion.. They made it worse. I gave them my vin, they looked up the TC fluid, and their system shows 68049954AA.. The reason it’s even more frustrating is that all three dealers in my area are out of it... I can order it through them. It can take up to 2 weeks to receive.. View attachment 185303

I just ordered 2 quarts for my full-time cased Sport, let us know what you come up with for the proper 44-44 number.
If it’s more than 40 below, I’ll start a small fire under the TC if I need to go anywhere!

So, I’ve been pricing out dif and TC fluid to change mine out.
I need:
SAE 75W85 x 2qts
BW44-44 x 2qts
75W140 w/LSD x 3qts
Here was the breakdown in the same order, per qt.
Safford Dodge: $75, $73, $75
Lustine Dodge: $78, $56, $27
Lyndsay Dodge: $17, $31, $21
I’ll be going out of my way and heading over to Lyndsay after work today..
I know I can find 75w140 anywhere and cheaper, but figured I’ll just grab it from the dealer while I’m there. I can’t find BW44-44 anywhere else, and I’d have to order 75W85 online since I can’t find it on the shelf. I believe Redline makes it.

They don't call them stealerships for nothing.

I would try the mopar parts online, amazon or ebay .. Dealers rip you off. If you dont mind using aftermarket oils then there are options. Personally i don't like to mess around too much especially if the truck is under warranty. The rear diff is easy, any aftermarket can supply that (they claim it has the friction modifier for lsd diffs but i always add the mopar modifier anyway, better be safe than sorry). The front diff is one i'd probably get from the dealer, reason being it's an odd weight and i want to make sure i have the specs and so that 4x4 works correctly as i suspect it has something to do with the resistance/load for the transfer case clutch and the actuator in the diff to function as intended. The Transfer case is a toss up in my opinion because Borg Warner supplies all transfer cases for gm/ram/ford.. not sure if they really use different oil or they just gouege everyone for it because they can..
I went with Lindsay dodge. Their full synthetic was priced like Red Line. Plus nobody else but the dealer sells the correct BW44-44 for my 2016. Also, nobody else carried 75w-85 SAE. Couple with the fact I could get it all in one place was good enough for me.
I was finally able to hit the auto skills center at Quantico yesterday, slapped her on the lift, and $17.50 later I was done. The shop on base makes it super easy! Especially since temps dropped below freezing. They shut the bay doors and run the heat.

I looked up the front diff 75w85 and found two makers, one is OES and the other is Motul
