My truck had 3157 bulbs in the brake lights and I was thinking of going LED. Not really satisfied with anything I found on Amazon. Some needed resistors, some gave errors (according to reviews), even though they said "error free". Some just didn't last (according to reviews). So, I did a quick Google search and found out that "3457" fits right in and is s higher lumen bulb. "40 candlepower" vs. "32 candlepower". The running light brightness remains exactly the same. I just put them in and they look great. I'll really be able to tell once it gets dark out. So, if you're looking for a brighter bulb, and you don't want to go the hassle of LEDs, give these 3457s a shot.
