EDIT: Thanks everyone for your input. I went ahead with Fox 2.5” coilovers as I do on and off-road. Sounds like you can’t go wrong with fox, icon, or king. From what I gathered though, king-fox-icon for strictly off-roading is the order to choose.
Hi everyone.
So after moving about 700 miles, my procomp pro runner front struts on my ram 1500 are starting to act up. Best way to explain the problem is that they are creaking and popping. Basically just aren’t actuating properly. I was planning on upgrading my suspension anyways so now is good of a time as any.
I have a 4x4 ram 1500 2015 Laramie with a 6” procomp lift on 17” 35” tires.
I’ve only heard that either fox or king were rough on road. But I see those brands all the time. I know the icon ones will have to be custom ordered as they don’t make any for a 6” lift. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to do? Ideally I’d like to just order something and be done with it. I plan to do on road as well as medium trailing with it as well. I will eventually upgrade the rear as well to match. Thanks in advance!
