Fram Ultra vs Tough Guard?

Should the Ultra only be used for full synthetic oils with the Tough Guard being best for conventional/blends? Thanks.

My opinion is synthetic media is better for any oil, so ultra all the way. read the oil filter thread in my sig, ultra is a very good choice, I use them in the wife's car.

The ultra with synthetic media will filter the oil better than one with a paper media.

Ultra is a better filter. The media is synthetic like said above. that is the one you want if you are going to use a FRAM. I actually am running a FRAM Ultra and Red Line oil in my Power Wagon right now

Let me know if you need a quote on Red Line Synthetic Motor Oil. This oil works wonders in the Hemi!
