I had the Dynatrac free spin installed in June. Noticeable difference in turning and serviceable bearings. I had mine done as I didn't have all the tools and place to do the install.

I don't see a reason to spend that much on a 2013+ Ram, other than serviceability as mentioned. We have electronic front axle disconnect now in 2wd. 2012 and older could see small benefits in MPG.

I could see a use for it. Recently towed our 5th wheel to the mountains and the road going into and thru the campground was very steep and narrow...it sure would have been nice to use 4lo without the front hubs locked it

What did they charge to install it?

I agree with HVYDuty, Should be no reason to install this product on a 2013+ RAM. These trucks have central axle disconnect. The only things that turn when disconnected is the stub shafts, axle-shaft u-joints and very short length of axle-shaft. The front drive shaft DOES NOT spin in 2-wheel. And thus, nothing in the transfer case spins.

On older systems, this would be a great idea. on an older system, pre 2013 or so, you would see a return on investment maybe after 250,000 miles to 300,000 miles.

I gonna say you will need to drive about 3.5 to 10 million miles to justify the savings in fuel. with a ~$3500 investment. saves maybe, .005 MPG..? maybe...

You can spend ~$200 on a switch that well allow driving in 2-Low. Nice feature to have if you move heavy trailers on hard pack.
