Hey guys and gals,

Anyone know what all is involved to get the driver side portion of the front chrome bumper moved up? Was looking at it when doing my E-fan swap and noticed that the driver side is lower than the passenger side enough to where you can see the bottom of some round rubber/trim pieces on the chrome that keep the painted piece above it from making direct contact. Can't tell it from afar, but I know it's off kilter and it's driving me nuts. Thanks in advance!

I just removed my chrome bumper. So there is more space between the down side of bumper and the trim piece above right? If so I imagine it will be as simple as loosening the 4 main bolts, using a level and then tightening. Got a picture?

Yep, you described it perfectly. Just need to tuck it up into the trim piece by about 1/4" or so. Where are those bolts located and would I need to unbolt the whole thing or would just the driver side be enough to move it around. Are they the four bolts where the frame rails meet with the front bumper on each side or are they somewhere else?

Yup just those 4 frame bolts, and you most likely would have to loosen all 4 but not all the way. I believe the bolt is 18mm socket. Probably need a buddy to make sure the bumper stays put and level.

Awesome! Thanks for your help. I noticed those bolts when I installed my tow hooks, but wondered if there were more than those eight that held the front bumper in place. Guess I know what I'll be doing on my next day off next week lol. I'll try to post some before and after pics in case someone else runs into the same problem down the road.

NP, before I loosened anything I would see if it muscles back into place. Then all you would have to do is tighten it.

Yeah, that is what I tried first and I wasn't that lucky. I had other things to do around the house after doing the E-Fan install and didn't have adequate time to mess with it. I tried pushing up on it to no avail and didn't want to start loosening what I thought might be needed to make the adjustment and take up too much time. Can't wait to get her straightened out though.
