this could be serious ! I have a 09 Ram 1500 4x4, 102,000 mi. The rt. frt. wheel started smoking along with a bad shake in the rt. frt. I pulled off the road to a burning smell qnd smoke ! I"m thinking the caliper got hung-up ?The outer side of the rotor looks ok ! The lug nuts are tight, if I replqce the caliper, should I do both ? The rotor is probrably thrashed, should they be replaced in pairs ? Don`t have apart yet ! Tomorrow am . To anyone replying,Thanx ahead of time .

I triple that :waytogo:

Also remember, smoking is bad. To have a smokin hot Ram is one thing, but a Ram that smokes…not good.

Could be bad hub. But if it is the caliper you can get away with just doing 1 caliper but you will need to replace pads and disk on both sides
