Has anyone else had this experience 2019 Laramie 1500 2 yrs old 67000 miles all highway and fuel pump goes out. As my luck would have it they don't even make the part yet its still in engineering. They wont pull one off new truck legal matters I get it and they wont pull one off used truck. Said I had to wait until part is available was released 11/2/2020 from engineering to be put in production. Good thing is said it should only be about 2-6 month....

All the parts are available if you want to look fir it, witch the dealer doesn't. But, on a side note, do you run with low fuel in the tank much. The pump needs fuel around it to keep it cool, so running low on fuel alot will allow it to overheat, and lead to premature failure.

I have a 2020 Ram 5.7 with 3000 miles that experienced a no start condition. It would turn over but not start so I unplugged the fuel pump connector , checked the terminals and plugged it back in and it started. I also noticed the connector did not have the connector assurance tab on it either way I now have 8000 miles on it and no issues. Hope this helps.
