I can see them being an issue if installed improperly of if they were warped from storage somehow, they come up beside the pedal in my Charger also. But as long as they're in right they haven't been an issue safety wise. rather have them there to catch the muck from winter

The ones I have seen were used and abused lol.. But have me thinking of not wanting them because of what I have seen ! BUT if there was a issue I am ssure someone would have sued them and changes would have been made ! :) In today's world people sue for anything :O

I am having a issue with my gas pedal :O When I touch the gas I keep hearing a squealing sound for a couple seconds :O And that is with my V6 and worse when I drive a Hemi :O I wonder if that is common lol
My only thought is fan belt. I had that problem a long time ago.

Only time there is gas in my truck is when I go-to the gas station with the 5 gallon container to fill lawn mower.
It's a diesel and mine has an accelerator pedal :-D

In the commercial diesel truck business we call it a fuel pedal.

I only have problems transitioning from gas to brake pedal. I really hate how most vehicles have the gas pedal sunken way below the brake pedal. If your shoe has any kind of hard edge or flare at the sole, it gets snagged on the underside of the brake pedal when pulling up with a sideways movement. What sense does that make? Why they are not even and on the same plane is beyond me. I haven't looked to see if I can add a spacer but typically the pedal bracket is freakin riveted to the firewall. DUMB
