So I just realized I haven't put gas in my truck since March 22nd and I still have about half a tank left.

My truck sees "spurts" of use sporadically. I go out and start it every couple days though.

I should be fine with it for that length of time sitting in there right?

I wouldn't worry about it personally. When you do drive it I would get it out the high way so that the oil gets good and up to temp to help disapate any water that may get in there. Short of that just wait few extra second for oil to make its way to everything and drive on.

well, I've seen in TV as they cranked up OJ Simpsons Truck the first time since it was parked years ago and the owner said proud, that it has still the original gas in it as it was in during the chase.
it cranked right up, after the battery was bridged and he drove it.
Technically, Gasoline lasts longer, than you think. I had my motorcycle sitting with a full tank after I had my highsider and was out for 8 months (the bike had only a broken blinker and 2 light scratches). It cranked right up and ran just fine.
I would not worry.

meh my toys see as little as 500-800 miles a year so your situation seems more than good to go.

If your just starting and running the truck for a few to charge up the battery, you would be better to buy a Battery Tender(or similar) to keep it charged.

I agree If your just starting it to start it I wouldn't your better off driving it and getting temps up or just let it sit. At least in my mind.

I parked a car with a full tank of gas with the intention of getting it back on the road. I started it once a year for two years then it set untouched for 8 years. I didn't want to start it after that long and ruin something so I had it towed to a mechanic and explained to him the deal and asked that he change all fluids, pull and drank the gas tank etc before starting it. Well, he changed all the fluids but didn't pull or change the gas tank. He called and said the car was running good and to come pick it up, he took it for a 15 or so mile test drive and said everything was good. I picked it up and looked at my bill only to notice that there was no charge for pulling and draining the gas. I probably took a HUGE risk in taking the car but he said he'd cover any damage by not draining the gas. In the end it was fine and I drove the car for 2 years without any issues at all.

His reasoning behind not draining the gas tank was that because it was a full tank when I stopped driving it that there wasn't enough oxygen in the tank to cause it to turn to varnish and that when he opened up the gas cap it still smelled like fresh gas. I may have just been lucky but from this experience I would think the OP will be just fine.

A full tank (less air) causes much less moisture to accumulate as well. Less air means less condensation.
