Gear shifter adjustment? Hard to put into park

Is there some sort of adjustment I can do for the gear shifter? It is quite difficult to place into park, and the gear indicator isn't always on the right spot. For example, sometimes it will show R when really I'm in neutral. To put it into park I have to push up quite hard and then forward to lock it into place.

I have to do the same thing to get mine into park. Interested in what adjustment it is.

I think he has to different problems.. There is an indicator adjustment that could be the issue with it showing correct gear or it all could be linkage issue not allowing shifter to be where it needs to be.. However im of no help since i dont know how to adjust the linkage on these...

My issues looks to be a linkage problem. I'm also having trouble finding how to adjust the linkage on these...
