Hey everyone. Been doing research for a while and just had a "small" thought. I decided that eventually I'm going to try and re gear over the course of this summer. I've found out that in the models above 2011 it is that the largest gear you can fit in the front differential is 4.56. I've been trying to decide if 38 or even 40 inch tires would be okay with this gearing? I don't do any offroading or any type of towing if that helps with anything. Any opinion helps, thanks.

2015's have the ZF front diff that cannot be regeared. You can either swap the whole diff to a ZF 3.92 and re-gear the rear to 3.92 or swap in a pre ZF 8" front diff and then regear both to 4.56.

Well are you saying I can regear the rear to 3.92 without doing the front? I feel like that would could cause issues but I don’t know much so if you can explain that part. But I want to do 38’s or 40’s so wouldn’t 3.92 be too small of a gear still for that size of a tire?
