Hey Matt so I got those gears put in and there great man what a difference the only issue I had was the install kit for the 8.0 was not complete my installer said the seal need for the passenger side where the cv axle meets the with the casing was not in the kit instead there was 2 seals for the drivers side he gave me the extra seal. Have you had this problem before cause it cost me a little more because I wasn't home to do the travel so he had to drive to dodge and order that seal it took a day to get in.

Glad to hear the gears were a big improvement. We have sold about 100 of these front install kits, and I havent heard of anyone receiving an incomplete kit. I will forward this to the company that makes the kit though to see what they have to say. I know this doesnt help you now since the parts are already installed, but they need to be aware of this if they had a big run packaged incorrectly.

Yea it's no big deal. I was just curious if this had been a issue before or if my installers error but the gears were great along with the service thanks again and next time I get back from work I'm going to be placing another order for a few parts

What brand gears and what brand kits did you use?

Motive 4.56 and the master install kits offs moes website I'm not sure of the brand

The install kits are made by a company called Drivetrain Specialists. I have had numerous shops even compliment on how nice and complete the kits are which is why this is so strange.

Yea there 4.56s are great along with Matt. Some of the best customer service and quickest responses I have experienced with a vender. The installer did say this was a great kit he just said they had given two of the driver side seals but was missing the passenger side seal.
