Matt I've been off the grid for a few months, did you ever run on nitrous and the fat rubber?

not this guy, any idea on total hours for install, up here roughly 150-160.00 an hour for labour:favorites13:

Its tough to quote labor because it will differ from shop to shop. Technically, the intake, throttle body, headers, underdrive pulley, efan, intake manifold, catch can, and thermostat all have to come off to install the heads and cam. This means that if the shop has to take it off and put it all back together anyways, then they shouldn't be charging you individual labor to install each of those parts. Your best bet is to just run by your local shops to see what they say about an in depth install like this.

I actually pulled the nitrous off the truck about a month ago. I want to hit 11.99 N/A first, and then I will put the nitrous back on and shoot for 10's.

Very nice. Have you thought about trying to shave off some more weight off the truck either on the body or motor parts? Dunno to what extent you have modified your vehicle but seems to be running some damn nice numbers.

What octane are you running these pulls on?

I have pulled most of the easy parts to remove...spare tire, tailgate, front swaybar, passenger seat, and center console. I don't want to start cutting into the frame or mess with removing interior panels or carpet just yet. Truck weight is just under 4500lbs with me in it.

All my runs have been on 93 octane pump gas. Once it cools off a bit, we are going to try some more aggressive tuning with 104 octane to see if we can squeeze a little more out of the motor.

Matt are you running a short belt? Was reading on the other forum that guys will swap out belts to a short belt to reduce some drag. Bypass the power steering, AC, ect.

I thought about it, but couldn't think of an easy way to route the belt without actually removing the power steering pump. So no, I'm not running a short belt.
