I'm hoping this feeling will pass but I'm starting to regret buying this truck. I really do like it but it seems I'm going through this phase of one fix after another. In the 1 year I've owned it I've had to have my rear axle re-aligned, put new shocks on all 4 corners, replace brakes and pads on all 4 corners, replace the rear tail lights because one was faulty and it was aftermarket, Replace rear axle seal, Replace front left axle shaft, replace exhaust Y pipe and converter, replace two oxygen sensors, replace the A/C dryer which did not fix my A/C problem. I still have to have the dash torn apart and replace the Evap Core, Heater Core and Blend Door. And if that wasn't enough I have a squeak in the front end as of today and the A/C Fan squeaks every time I shut the truck off until it stops spinning. So by my calculation I still have another $1K-$1500 worth of repairs to make UGHHHH!!! When I'm done This thing should be practically new again. I tell myself that it's still cheaper than having a heavy payment. Oh and I forgot the bed of my truck is not level, the left driver side is 1.5 inches lower than the right so now I have to buy new leaf springs on top of everything. Yeah me!! Any one else gone through this and come out the other side happy they kept the truck???
Sorry for the Rant!! The front end squeak put me over the edge this morning.

Gas only weighs about 6 lb/gallon; 26 gallons comes out to 156 lbs; even water isn't as heavy as you are stating (8.33 lb/gal).....the tank obviously adds weight but is static amount.....this might change the evaluation of the problem

i know it sure seems like you have alot of problems.before long you will have them all fixed though. there is usually a reason someone is selling there ride. and its usually not because it is dependeable.

think you are just having bad luck. mine is a 02 and i have only had the alt and water pump oh and the tail light circuit boards break or go out.

I feel you pain man, my 5.9L 02 has been a complete ****. been through 3 transmissions 2 transfer cases replaced my rear end gears twice now, blows exhaust manifold gaskets every 5-10k miles. had my water pump go out once, had my intake manifold crack, replaced both front wheel bearings twice, replaced all 4 shocks, replaced all the tie rods and ball joints, my stock exhaust rusted off, both of my tail light circut boards burnt out at the same time. my horn stopped working, my ac compressor seized up, and all of that is fixed now.

gotta say now that it is running and driving dependably i love the truck, actually got to start modifying it a little bit now!

still have work to do though....Key fob stopped working, the power locks and windows on the rear driver door stopped, and the guy beforee me installed a janky sound system that needs a lot of work to make it look good, but it works. and thats about it!

keep workin on it man your almost there!

My 2012 does the same thing... Because it has gas in it. 26 gallon tank even HALF full can weigh 200 pounds. Full tank is almost 350 or so. When I have a full tank the truck sags 1.5 inches in the back left. Run the truck empty and check again.

Heavy payments? Have a loan out on a 12 challenger r/t barely put 12grand down and only pay 278 a month.

If I had 12k to put down I'd just buy another truck or not complain about fixing this one. I'd love a 2012 though!

LOL see some one always has it worse. I bought this truck in 2009 and replaced all this over the past year and a half or so. but good thing is the truck is basically brand new now. good to go for another 10 years so im happy spending the money on fixing things.

Yeah I'm not happy spending the money but its true that I would rather do this than be paying $400-600 a month on a newer Model. Ill be happy as soon as its all fixed and fun to drive again. Just wish I could go 6 months or so between breaks, I'd rather spend the money on mods.

Heard some Dodges can have quality issues after a while but I would still take my Ram over a F150 any day!
