Well today I spent the day at the shop learning the fun eraser wheel. I removed all the crap on the side of the truck. I used the fishing line and eraser wheel route. That was pretty easy and I like the look. I have my step rails off being Rhinoed and my wheels should be in any day now. I can't wait. I must say I like the new look the Ram is having .

Oh Pictures... Yeah!!

The 4x4 on the tail gate is still on and I Plasti Dipped it and I'm still in debate if I like that or if I will get it painted same as grille and badge. I have new Ram head and tail badge on order also for the red and black look.

What do you guys think?

Looks awesome man! I'd say some satin black headlight housings and if you do projectors have them color matched red would look awesome.

Yeah I have talked with JJ and about a set of painted satin black headlight housings. I am going to keep my HID's and not go the projectors route. I'm wanting to do a same set up with the fogs but JJ said the fogs are a pain and many break just trying to open them up. That is why I'm not sure yet. I don't wan't to tint the lights because I have a form of night blindness and I need all the light I can get on the roads. I am wanting to try to have my heads match the fogs. Any ideas on that??

Looks good!

Thanks brother.

I have Dodge Ram (2009, 2010, 2011) Fog Light Covers on my fogs, but it really doesn't hinder light output at all that I can tell. They say on the website it reduces by 6% for the shade that I got, which is called "tint". It matches fairly closely to my satin headlights (I think). Thor09 has satin painted headlights with "gunsmoke" shade - I'll see if I can get him to post a couple pictures so you can compare.

Someone say my name? lol

I have JJ's heads painted satin and gunsmoke (12%) laminx on my fogs and KC offroad lights. No issues with light output. I do have JJ's 4500k 55W fogs and some 55W 5K KC retros. Here's some pics but I love them.

I know I can't wait. I'm not too happy with rimzone online they have been on order for over a month now. I'm like a kid waiting for christmas.

Thanks Brother!!

Yeah we need to talk more JJ. I like the idea of red accent however I am not diggin the projectors on my truck. My 6k HID's on my truck kick my wifes van 6k HID projectors. I think the satin black for sure though. Any ideas on how to do the red without projectors? Or can you talk me into projectors?

The lamin-x does not look dark at all and the loss of light is slim to none. Thanks for the picture and allowing me to see sexy again. :)

Yeah I have the 35W HID's on all and they are bright as hell. Thanks for the pictures. Yeah I'm sold on that Satin and the laminx looks great. So what different tint %'s does Laminx have? Also how hard was it to tint the fogs?

Truck is looking awesome by the way.
