My truck is crazy loud with the Spintech pro 6000! It's kinda like I'm tring to race everyone at the lights and getting way to much attention and since I put in the cutout pipe I got loud on switch! Which is bad a$$ so I order this!!! From Matt @ moes image.jpg

That thing is way too pretty to get dirty under your truck. You need to hang it on the wall in your living room! j/k :)

I think you are gonna have the perfect combo with the 22" and the cutout. I look forward to hearing what you think!

David this thing is freaking heavy! It would about pull a stud out of the wall. It is very pretty and I'm looking forward to hearing my tunes again. Hopefully my exhaust guy can work me in soon.

When I saw your exhaust thread the other day, I knew this was coming...haha. These trucks get crazy loud with longtubes and no cats.

Yes Matt I knew better but I got excited and went rebel there!

Jay, going true dual makes them louder to! What if you did one of those big Maggie's with the x pipe inside.how would two x-pipes fair? Exhaust is one of those things trial and error. Have you diagnose your Exh rattle yet?

That's what I am running. An exhaust cutout with a magnaflow muffler. I like the idea of it all, being able to go from really loud to pretty decent.

I'm glad to see that others are having the same thoughts as me... making the truck quieter, I felt like a freak when I posted how I was trying to make mine quieter.

I don't miss my loud exhaust days. When I first did the engine swap I just had open LT headers... nightmarishly loud as I drove around for 2 months like that at never more than 40km/h; then I had the first exhaust fabbed up with true duals, no cats, 2x 30" magnaflows, and cutouts which realistically didn't make a big difference ... still ridiculously loud and almost unbearable at highway speeds. My current exhaust is much better after I installed an H-pipe and twin 20" bottles at the backend, I can finally drive around town with a mild growl and keep the wife happy but still have the open cutouts when I want them. Of course, having a D1SC blower with a big red race valve on the truck makes it sound like a high pitched hair dryer that drowns out most of the exhaust sound.

That is one Perdy muffler:naughty:
You Guys talk about loud, I removed my muffler and straight piped it and removed resonators. It's loud but sounds amazing to me, the natural HEmi roaring through the unrestricted pipes is really nice. My neighbor across the street might not like it as much as I do when I fire it up a 7 am.

Even with the MF cat-back which has the 22" muffler, my truck is pretty loud. Granted, I have LT no cats, but its still pretty loud. I did have it off for a bit and went to stock. Im debating dual electric cut-outs prior to the y-pipe and running factory exhaust. Just not sure what to do yet honestly.

Id like to know how you feel about that MF with headers. It looks to be about the same one that comes with the MF cat-back system.

Yeah, I had a feeling it was but not 100% sure. For me personally its loud but not obnoxious so its tolerable. My wife does not care for it though! Its SUPER loud on cold start-up in the mornings. Im sure the neighbors hate it!

I had taken it off for awhile due to the local PD eye ******* me too much. Everytime I drove past, they stopped doing whatever just to look ;/ Cut-outs might be really what I need :D

Doz do the cutout man!! I had the small case 18" Maggie on it prior and after headers it got pretty mean but no where like it is now. I believe I made a good choice this time. Will find out next Thursday! I'm not changing it again

Not changing it again? Lol... My exhaust was the last thing on my list but turned out to be the most difficult. I'll be changing mine to in the future.
