Looking for a set of 1 or 1.25" hub centric spacers

I know there are guys running them here. Any good brands to look at? Bad? Cost?

Just so you know you'll have to trim your stock wheel studs

As a former employee of Discount Tire Co. I highly advise against this. Many companies have begun to shy away from spacers and will refuse to install them. They are a major safety hazard.

You won't have to trim studs if you stick with 1.25" or more

As far as I knew 1500 and 2500 used the same wheel studs, the 2500s just had more lol
But my studs were just shy of 1.75"
They'll need trimmed if they're to long or else the wheel won't sit flush to the spacer

Some one here was running 1.5" I believe and discount tire would just take them off when they had their tires rotated lol

I have read a bit over the years about opinions on these, but from what I've seen......failures came from faulty install.

I have always been eery of running spacers for some reason. Ever since my buddies Jeep.. He had the 4 door with a 4 inch lift and 35-37s... Can't remember. Had spacers. I remember following him home after a football game and him making a right hand turn then all of a sudden his back left tire passing him up down the road... LOL They were cheap spacers though so that probably had something to do with it.

yeah they were probably just those $20 spacers you can get at auto parts stores lol

I've only heard good things about the spacers from wheeladapter.com
Fred Goeske is a pretty popular name in the diesel world

I had 1.75" lug centric eBay spacers for 35k-40k miles without any problems

Get adapters. 5 on 5.5 bolt them to the hub and BAM bolt wheel on new studs

Fwiw I ran the el cheapo eBay 1" hub-centric spacers on the rear of my cobra for a while with no problems while making pretty good power.. Everyone advised against them but I did it anyways. I was always leery of them while driving but like I said, no issues at all.

JJ, I've been running a set of 1.25"s from Motorsport-Tech and I haven't had a single issue with them. On top of that, the 1.25" in my opinion is the perfect spacing for the tires. Looks great once they're on. $200 for a set. Only downside is that you'll have to put em on yourself or find a tire shop that will (Boooo Discount!).

Well.......ordered on the 11th. Email sent on the 17th asking for an update (nothing on the site to track orders). No response, so I called them yesterday. They will ship next week......

I assumed they were in stock, but they've run through a bit lately - so they aren't. They are finishing up a batch now. Oh well.
