2019 V8 with U-connect. Several times in the past month I have been driving and using the Google Maps feature of Android Auto projected on the touchscreen. Suddenly the vehicle tracking will cease, and the display will show the vehicle as not moving along the route. I've tried turning the vehicle off and on, re-booting my Android phone, restarting maps, and unplugging the connection between the phone and truck. I've also tried re-calibrating my phone by swinging it in a figure-8 motion.
It's frustrating because the phone and internet work fine when this happens, but the map basically 'gets stuck' on the display (Google maps also works fine on the phone if I immediately unplug from Uconnect). Anyone have any potential fixes? I've tried updating the Google maps software - any other suggestions? I'm not sure if it's a UConnect or a phone issue.
