Got a VP4 from a jeep, need help

I cant find any info if this will work in my 2014 Ram. Part number 68211955AG. it was out of a jeep. Any thoughts? I lokked all over the forum and cant find anything on this part number.

Just off the top of my head I think I remember someone trying it and I think it worked. I think the Ram Logo loaded up after the second startup or something like that. Like SitKneelBend said, plug it in and see what happens. It's not much work to get everything apart so it's worth a shot. Let us know what happens.

This...it will switch to Ram branding eventually.

Might be a bit different but I was told mine came out of a ram. But when I did a factory reset at first the screen said RT in red then switched to Ram. The RT was pretty cool looking wouldn't have mind it staying like that.

They all default to that on reset.

The unit I installed was from a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It said jeep upon initial start but like stated after that it began saying ram. Found a donor vin online for a 2014 ram with ra4 from factory and used it to download software update for my radio. Simple. Works great.
