Hey everybody just got my CAI installed and was looking at getting some 1.7 HS roller rockers and was wondering where you got them and if you ran into any trouble on the install.

The 1.7's are a great power addition. You'll like those. I used Crowers years ago and I had to mush in the valve cover oil baffles just a little with a 2x4 so the rockers would clear

h.s non adj you donnt have to do anything to the valve covers for them to fit. i got mine through summit a few yrs ago. they will give you like .032 more lift. kinda like a small cam. not a bad mod for the money. use grease to hold the spacers in the rockers when you install. it took me 2 drops of the spacers to figure that out.lol. pretty easy install. use some oil on them so you donnt get a dry start on 'em.they are prolly about 15hp gain.

they sure look pretty. to bad you cannt see them after install. i reused them when i pulled my motor for the cam and head swap. gave me a little more lift. i figured them into the build since i already had them.

I'm kind of on the fence on these but if they'll truely fit under the stock valve covers I'd run them. I've heard both ways.

Awesome...funally...a trusted source. I'll add them to my list again. Not sure how they'll add anything to a high mileage motor but if they can be reused, even better.

Thanks!

i cannt remember which tuner i was running for sure at the time of my first install. it was either the hypertech max energy or the superchips 3815. and no, no problems. you donnt need a tuner to use them.

and after you get them on, i would set the valve covers down on with no gasket and crank the motor over by hand and see if they hit the v/c's just to be safe i guess. okie has me worried now.lol. if they would happen to hit, which i donnt think they will, it would just be the baffle inside. easily fixed.

mileage isnt gonna matter that much in the helping department. they will help no matter the mileage.

the hp gain will be across all the rpm range. they help from the low rpms all the way to the upper rpms.
