Sometimes it gets stuck but normally after sitting awhile it throws an error. I normally have to either find another USB cord or use a different port then it goes on through. Superchip's update software is picky.

I had to set mine 1-2 shift to 6100 and 2-3 shift to 6050 or the exhaust would make a "blah" sound when it shifted at WOT. Some call it a exhaust fart I think?? Superchips says a rev limiter of 6300 is no where near the limits of the 4.7l.

Powerband is only in beginning of 5k why so high? I have mine set great for my supporting mods, at 1-2 5150 and 2-3 at 5300 and I still get that "fart" with tru duals.

so is higher better on the 4.7? within reason anyway... somewhere in the upper 5k range? my motor is all stock except for the cat delete and magnaflow muffler.

Superchips just said raising it would give me more gear before shifting. Mine feels like it pulls decent through 6,000. but I am just now able to use the shift rpm. I was unable to adjust a few things because of a firmware issue. They fixed that and now the advanced trans tuning isn't working anymore.
But I may try bumping it down. I rarely tach it up that high except to pass someone and mess around on occasion.

Personally I have found nothing higher than 5k range to be beneficial, Ive tried several different ranges. You may wanna invest in a intake, there are mopar knockoffs for the 4.7l @ or below a hundo, then buy a good filter, I found aem on eBay for 20 shipped. More air in more air out.
