GPS activation

Asking for a friend, he has a 2014 Big Horn, he refused to pay the dealer $600 to activate the navigation on his truck, I mentioned that I have the AlphaOBD app and it may be able to activate his GPS. Is this possible without getting an activation key from the dealer.

Alfa cannot activate the Navigation. The only way to get an activation key is a dealer or there are some sellers on ebay that would be cheaper.

In all honesty it's not worth it. Your 2014 probably has 2013 maps on so going to be outdated any way. You can update the maps but they are not free so that's more $$
