I'm going yo pd the chrome grille but it doesn't look like they come off. Am I missing something or am I going to have to tape everything off and paint it while on the truck? Thanks for any info.

They come off. The are held in with a plastic rivet type fastener. You have to use a thin screw driver and push/beat the pin out of the center then the other part will come right out

You should just plastidip them. Just tape everything off, and spray them with it on the vehicle.

Like said above, there are many small plastic rivets in there that hold the inserts in. I would remove the inserts before painting them to avoid any overspray. It will make it much easier.

Yes, you can re-use them, but be careful taking them out. I snapped 1 or 2 the first time I removed them.

Yup, removable and reusable. Take a small punch or drill bit and tap out the center pin, then just pull out the other part. Its really not that bad, but i had the whole grille off when i did mine, not just trying to take the inserts out with the grille on the truck. To so just the insert id probably spray it on the truck instead of trying to punch out those pins with the grille on the truck, that seems like it would be a pita.
