Soo..I figured before I go anywhere too muddy and such I should see how the 4wd works. Well, it'll shift prefectly into 2H and 4H, but I get a horrid grinding up front (axle or the transfer box that holds the 4wd gears?) when I tried to stick it I 4L (what I should use to get unstuck/pull soemthing, yes?).

Soo..any ideas? Should I just avoid situtations where I may have to use it for now until I stick it in the shop for a new windshield?

Yupp. Had it parked and decided to go through the gears in neutral with the brakeon (was on a slight hill) because boyfriend said, "It's only 2wd!?".

If we tell me where it is I can look, lol. I didn't even know there WAS a transfer case until some guy told me, haha.

It helps if you are very slightly rolling while trying to shift into 4L. Allows the gears to find the proper alignment.

Maybe I'll try that then..And if it grinds again, where is the transfer case (like, do Ihave to crawl under or can I check it with the hood popped) so I can check the fluid and/or find out what's wrong?

The transfer case is where the front and rear drive shafts connect to under the truck; it will be at the end of your transmission. Not exactly familiar with your specific case, but I would imagine there is a drain and fill plug you could use to check the fluid level. Also double check linkage from the shifter (assuming manual transfer case) and any electrical connections on the case.
