2018 Ram Laramie 5500 with good backup camera system but, have no "Guidance Lines". We installed a new Uconnect 4C 8.4 Radio and a new OEM Rear Camera, still no guidance lines. Took into Ram dealership, they checked everything out and everything checked out good -couldn't find any issue to cause no guidance lines to show, suggested it maybe a programing issue. So because the current program is up to date they said we need to wait for Chrysler to come out with a new program to see if that would correct the issue. (Sorry but I believe most all dealerships don’t have qualified electronics technicians to be able to troubleshoot even simple issues) We tried disconnecting batteries for an hour and reconnecting, but no change. We also went into the radio dealer programing and reset to default but, no change. We did see that the box was checked to show the guidance lines however, when you uncheck the box it automatically comes back checked. It would appear that there is some glitch in the program. Does anyone know how to Default or reboot this unit differently than we have already done or have another solution. Please help.

Assuming push button start with the Laramie. Hit the push button twice (without your foot on the break), and once the Uconnect boots up, press and hold volume and tuner knobs at the same time for 10 seconds or so, until the screen flashes. That should do a hard reboot/reset.
