Hi all! I have a 2011 1500 4x4 with the stage 2 icon suspension. My truck currently sits at 39.5 in the front and 40 in the rear.

I bought some 17x9 raceline wheels -12mm offset and am having trouble finding tires that will fit this setup. What’s the biggest I can fit without having to do too much trimming? Can I go 305/70/17 or should stick to 295/70/17?
Thanks for any help!
Assuming a 305/70r17 is a 34 you should be fine. I’m running a 3” front setup with 18x9 -12 wheels and 305/70r18 tires that measure 35x12 and have no rub whatsoever

315/70/17 will fit, it's what i run now with literally same wheels. Was running 37x12.5x17 before but i have an aftermarket bumper.

Thank you and @crazykid1994 for getting back to me. I ended up with 285/75/17. The measurements read 33.8x11.2. I wanted to try to get as much height as possible. Hoping I won’t regret getting the narrower tire lol

Post up some pics. I'm looking to actually drop to that size from 315s

If you are 2wd this will not work. Only 4wd trucks. 2wd you can purchase a kit from maxtrac or find Coil spacers for the front since you do not have struts on 2wd

Great read Brandon thanx

My question, I'm sure, has been asked. What kits/setups are you all using? I currently have a rough country 3" spacer kit. I wish I did more research before I did this. I am really unhappy with the handling. I want to stay 3-4" lift. I don't mind swapping out control arms or adding tierod extensions or anything like that. I was also looking at long arm kits. But that gets quite a bit pricy lol. I really want full spring and strut swap to achieve the lift. This way I get full travel or possibly slightly extended travel. Any help would be great. Thanx

So..... if you go with the Bil 5100's in the front... which ones do you go for in the rear?

I have 5100s in the rear. I originally got them before I did them in the front because when I was towing the back would bounce way too much. The 5100s in the rear helped with that tremendously.

Hello everyone I’m new here and I have a question about lifting my 2013 Ram 1500. I am looking at Rough Country’s 2.5 inch or 3 inch lifts, I was wondering if I will have CV joint/axle problem with either lift? Will the kits damage my front diff? Tie rod problems? Any help will be very much appreciated.

so ive gone ahead and read this entire thread and there nothing specific of the Warlock. Since this seems like a good spot for a definitive answer ill ask here, Is every Warlock lifted or just the 4x4?

I know the base ride height is higher but i think its just the tire size difference. All the marketing material i can find says all the Warlocks are factory 1" lifted. While ive heard only the 4x4 are across the interwebz.

Thx Brandon this is great info! The only thing is I'm looking to level my '14 2wd & it appears Bilstein only makes 4wd applications per the link you provided. I'm trying not to you just a spacer as I hear it creates issues with ball joints over time... Again thx for the great info!

Great stuff, thank you. I just joined this forum in Jan 2021 and see all of these posts are old, so I'm not sure I will reach anyone. My question should be extremely simple. On my stock rims for my 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn (275/60 R20), I would like to go with a SLIGHTLY taller replacement tire, specifically a 275/65 R20. Besides a minor speedometer impact, is there anything else I need to worry about? I'm not trying to 'lift' or go crazy, just want the extra couple centimeters of height, that's all. Thanks in advance anyone. . .

275/65 should be fine. You can use alfaobd to update the speedometer for that. You may want to look into a small leveling kit with the tires but probably not 100% necessary

I just put on some 275/65R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT, I like the tires, got slight rub on my mudflaps at full lock. Just received my bilstein 5100’s yesterday and waiting on bilstein rear coils to come in.

Awesome post...Lots of great info, thank you.

2021 Ram 1500 Classic, Bilstein 5100's in front set at 2.1 and rear 1.5 inch spacers with Bilstein 5100's.

Would anyone know what my rake would be, approx.?

For the rear, would a new coil be better than the spacer?

Thanks..Serge
