Also, does anybody know for sure if 285/65R20 BFG A/T tires (34.7x11.5) will fit on stock 20x9 sport wheels after a 2.5" front 1.5" rear lift? I stuck my head in the wheel wells at full lock both ways and it seems that I have more than an inch clearance at full lock everywhere...after lifting I think the above size will be ok, but close at full lock. I don't want to buy aftermarket wheels or put on spacers. I'm pretty sure I could fit 275/50R20s (34.1x11) now, so going just a little higher and wider after the suspension should be no problem right?

Love the IS-F. In a perfect world, I would have the Ram and something like an IS-F. If the Ram didn't take up two garage stalls......

GYMKATA,

Vararam / S&B Intakes are the top 2 well liked intake units on the market. Also dont forget to throw in a Catch Can to that list. Then hey if you can swing the money, throw a TQ Converter in there to really get the power down better with future larger tires. The converter from what I have read can also reduce your transmission temps, and in some cases SLIGHTLY improve the mpg's.

Yes those 285/65-20s should fit, Jake09 ran them a few years ago. Also one guy ran 295/65-20 trail graps with just a 2" level but its pretty tight

After looking at all the options, I am going to order the Vararam CAI...looks like a great design.

So, I got a chance to line the vehicles in the garage up for a quick photo shoot today. None of them are washed, but not really that dirty...

GUESS WHAT MY FAVORITE COLOR FOR MY VEHICLES IS? 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count.

So, I ordered a Vararam intake with 87mm throttle body and a 180 deg thermostat from Moe's last night. After I get that installed, next is the Icon suspension....can't wait. (not looking forward to installing the suspension though)

Will do...though it might be a little while until I get the tires. After a long back and forth with my wife, she agreed to the $3000 suspension. If the stock tires don't look too bad I might wait to get new tires for a bit...we'll see. If I can find a buyer for the stock tires now, I will definitely get new 285/65R20 BFG A/Ts. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would want a discount on brand new 275/55R20 tires that come with the Ram.

Yeah, I might as well do that too. It is cheap and I have seen many people here already promoting that mod. What the hell, I'll order it right now.

BTW, as long as you drive lightly, this truck isn't bad with fuel economy. I only have 160 miles on her and just got 22 mpg driving from Baltimore to Arlington (43 miles) running 87 octane in moderate traffic. I think with a light foot the 3.92 gears might help keep the Hemi in MDS mode more often. Time will tell.

I was checking out the duratracs had them on my jeep and gas mileage sucked but they look and work so well! The hemi has mucho power so I think it shouldn't effect mpg to much.

I really like the Duratracs...They don't come in the size I want though. I've only been able to find BFG tires in 285/65R20 sizes.

I was searching an saw that Toyo A/T II tires come in 295/65R20. Does anybody know if that will rub on my stock Sport wheels. I'm pretty sure the specs are 20x9 +19mm. The 295/65R20s are listed by Toyo as being 35.1x11.8, which is the exact same width as the 285/56R20 BGF ATs, and only 0.4" taller.
