I currently have a 2015 sport crew with heated seats. I rarely use them but wife loves them lol. Reason I can't stand them is because I prefer just back warmer not the butt. I'm wondering if anyone has attempted or has changed or by chance know what wires are what under seat schematics. I'm currently not home but will look deeper into this of course.
So when you turn on heated seats both upper and lower come on when you shut 1 setting off it will only allow bottom seat heat I'd rather have just back heat.
What I want to do is switch wires on heated seats mainly drivers side only if I can so when you turn off 1st setting it will turn off bottom not back. So in theory I will only have the back heat instead of bottom. I'm also going to look through alpha obd settings (I doubt it as it would be wiring) for possible heated seat changes?
Just wondering if anyone tackled this or interested in this if I end up doing tomorrow if I have the chance. My preference is 1 setting for back heat as my a$$ is warm enough lol. Ty all for any info or help in this
