look at the Colorado, and Tacoma sales. Fiat should be rethinking dropping the Dakota.
From a business standpoint, FCA made the right call for dropping the Dakota.
Sales of the 3rd gen went from 100K units to a low of 10K units. It was 90% the size of a full size ram. Occupied the same production plant as the current USA made RAM's and with later dismal sales, was not earning it's keep. FCA drooping it allowed then to increase full size production.
Talk is cheap and boards like this just keep the fandom alive but do not necessarily equate to a larger potential market base clamoring for it.
Kind of sad the Dodge created the mid-size market and has now lost it to competitors. If the price was right and the market was still there, they would be still making them.
If it ever comes back, I see it being built in Mexico.
