LAPD get's a hard-on when they hear loud trucks. I had a Titan with a sick banks exhaust set-up, and I got a ticket from LAPD for "loud exhaust."

I took the truck to Banks and they did a sound analysis on it and it came back .3 decibels below the legal limit of 93 (if I remember correctly).

I was proud to beat that ticket, showed up in court with my sound analysis documentation and baaaaaaam! Done! Lol! :)

I am well aware...I live in Pasadena, Ca for a few years while I was in school. I drove a twin turbo 350Z with a full titanium exhaust and about 37K worth of other mods and about $3428.81 in traffic tickets....

Now I live in a snooty beach community, and the cops feel they need to protect the rich peoples ears or some ****... I say "hand out some ear plugs, and let me do what I want with my exhaust!" j/k

Yeah, always. Pasadena was ok. It was the 210 and 110 freeway...I got arrested doing 167 on the 110. If you ever been on the 110 you know there isn't too many spots where you can reach speeds like that but with that Z man, that was my favorite stretch of hwy besides laurel canyon rd....

"So, if I wanted a Y pipe it would be 3" dual/3" single into a single 3" muffler with dual 2.5" exit? If I figured that right?"

I have the Blackout quad cab so heres my opinion. I just installed the Vararam intake and it was hands down the best investment you could make. The truck pulls much harder and has a deeper tone in the exhaust. Now, as for the exhaust system. I went with the most aggressive option the DODM80 mufflex delete. I have had it for 3 days counting today, and i have had 2 random people stop me on the road to tell me how awesome my truck sounds. Don't forget the system is the most aggressive sound you can get but it is a clean, crisp, and amazing tone thanks to the resonators. In my opinion its go big or go home. Oh and there is next too zero drone on the highway until you want to make some noise and this exhaust screams.

You are insane man! But in a good way! Haha!

The 110 is a tough freeway to do 167mph on, speed limit is 55. I tip my hat to you sir...

Have you ever driven Angeles Crest (Los Angeles Forest Highway). That is my favorit stretch of road in America: sports bikes, sports cars (my Porsche)... 45 minutes of pure pleasure, hairpin turns and straights!!!

That would be a really funny thread though!

Please help me choose my next investment:
1. Exhaust
2. Cai
3. Wheels
4. A ******

Yeah but when the ****** leaves you have absolutely nothing to show for except maybe a case of the crabs......or worse:roflsquared:
