Can't wait to see it with the Salta wheels on. Since AEV released the wheels for the 2500 I've been eyeing them and working to convince the wife that we really "need" them. Can you share a picture showing your STTs with the leveling kit? I have about the same size tires just with the factor 20's. I'm trying to decided how a level would look.

I am not a huge "FAN" of the Red lettering...but its black letter on the backside. I had the red letter in on my JKU on AEVs and it looked alright. I just had such good luck with Generals on the Jeep, I wanted them for the RAM and so far...I am HAPPY. Good Road Manners and hush hush on the pavement at high and moderate speed.

Is this the Bilstein kit? How do you like it? Ride quality improve or the same?

Yes its is the less expensive kit without the remote reservoir shocks. I love the kit and the improvement in appearance but the ride did not improve as much as I'd hoped. If I did it over I'd spend the extra cash and get thuren's kit.

Thanks for the honest opinion, I’ve been back and forth between this and thuren.

I have thuren in my 3500 with their cheapest shocks and it was a HUGE improvement... if I wouldn’t have cheated out on shocks it would have been better but for my application the large $ jump didn’t make sense...my next truck will likely get the next stage upgrade

I have the Bilstien kit on mine (reservoir version). I would say it's a slight improvement over stock but not a lot, and I'm okay with that. The Thurens and Carli will give you a better ride but that may not always be a good thing if you are towing a lot (or heavy). Seen a few people pull them because they were a little too soft for a towing/working truck.
Just a little additional info to help you consider what is best for your truck.

I had some 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers G2s put on last Monday with stock 18s for now. Was going to go with some 18" XD Badlands but, I decided to spend the coin on some other mods. Sitting stock, leveling kit will go on later this month.

To quote my wife, "It looks so much better with bigger tires".

You have any rubbing issues with that tire? Im thinking about 295/65/20 on my factory all stock truck but not sure if they will rub or not seem to be getting mixed reviews. Both of those tires are 11.6" wide but the 18 is about .8" lower than the 20 but it seems that height isnt the issue its the width.
